Joe Seaver
Joe qualified as a Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist from the London School of Sport Massage in 2014 and as an Osteopath with the London School of Osteopathy in 2023. He has worked alongside Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and Soft Tissue Therapists for over 10 years and brings the best of what those therapists have taught him to his own practice.
Joe brings an optimistic and educational approach to his patients, believing that your body's incredible capacity for recovery will give you the confidence to take control of your own path back to health. He works with a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries using hands on techniques and strengthening to get you healthy and keep you there.
Before working as an Osteopath, Joe worked with young people suffering from mental health challenges and learned a lot about managing his own mental health during that time - so don’t be surprised if some mindfulness and breathing makes its way into your recommended exercises!
Joe lives in Uckfield with his wife.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a health system that focuses on the relationship between the body's structure (bones, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues) and its function, aiming to restore optimal health by addressing musculoskeletal imbalances. Osteopaths use manual therapy techniques like stretching, massage, and gentle manipulations to improve joint mobility, relieve muscle tension, and enhance blood flow, all of which can aid the body's natural healing processes
